Week 1

Analyze your current situation

In week 1, we start the journey with yourself. We help you appreciate your past milestones and reflect on future financial goals. You will learn basic concepts to set the course for your financially self-determined future. Please note that we do not give personal recommendations or make trading decisions with you or advise on them.

Week 2

Basics of Investing

Investing is not rocket science! However, there are some things to consider and learn. We start with what a stock is and work our way up to important financial metrics that one should pay attention to when investing.

Week 3

Sustainable Investing

Everyone claims to be sustainable. But who really is? Together we navigate through the greenwashing jungle and technical terms like ESG or SRI. After this section, you will know how to recognize sustainable stocks and ETFs that match your individual values.

Week 4

Let’s get started!

After learning a lot about yourself and sustainable investing in the past weeks, it's now time to take the next step. Every beginning is difficult, but we will accompany you in planning and executing your first investments.

Who is the Impact Academy right for?

The money:care Impact Academy is right for you if you’ve been thinking about tackling finances and investment but haven't quite mustered the courage. If you want to expand your knowledge about sustainability in this area, you are the perfect addition to the next cohort. The next session will be in German, so that’s a prerequisite.

How exactly does the Impact Academy work?

In week 1, our joint kick-off session will take place online, and there is also a fixed time slot for exchanges within your peer group, which is every subsequent Monday at 7 PM. In week 4, we will have our joint closing session. Between these dates, you will have time to watch the learning videos at your leisure and whenever it suits you.

How often does the Impact Academy take place?

The Impact Academy takes place approximately every month. The next start date is Sep 30, 2024. Join us, we look forward to seeing you!

How much time does the Impact Academy require?

The Impact Academy requires only about 2-3 hours per week and is designed so that you can comfortably complete it in four weeks. Of course, it somewhat depends on how much time you and your peer group decide to spend on exchanges and how quickly you watch the videos. However, you will still have access to the videos after the four weeks, so you can also watch them entirely at your own pace.

Can I participate with friends?

Absolutely! We even encourage it. If a group of 4-5 people registers, we can assign you to one peer group, and you go through the Impact Academy process together. In this case, you even benefit from a group discount - just send us an email at office@moneycare.at.
